why did nabisco stop making ideal cookies?

They were the BEST!! I've been looking for them for years-I was thinking maybe I just didn't remember the name and that's why I couldn't find them. They were definitely one of the best cookies made!! The loss of these cookies was devastating. Little Debbie makes something similar, but we need the real ideal back!! Always will be!! Had to google it and found this thread. Pleeeeeeaaaaasssse, bring these cookies back. Then I just took one, so he could not be sure if his count was off one. I believe Nabisco stopped manufacturing Ideal Bars because the chocolate the recipe called for was too costly to make. Those Ideal bars were so great, maybe the top notch ingredients didn't leave them enough profit. I can still remember that taste. You have to keep them refrigerated because the chocolate will melt. and Cheese Nips. Why else would they not capitolize on the chocolate & peanut butter market in 30 yeas?
